LAMBDABOARD® and DECOBOARD™ are both polyisocyanurate (Polyiso/PIR) rigid insulation boards made on a continuous laminator. Due to the manufacturing process, the Polyiso boards have zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and very low global warming potential, making it a smart choice with regards to environmental impact.
LAMBDABOARD® and DECOBOARD™ can be used in a variety of applications making it a practical and versatile way to not only meet project requirements but to ultimately reduce the need for artificial heating and cooling methods which results in monetary savings and the reduction of CO2 emissions.
LAMBDABOARD® is a polyisocyanurate (PIR/Polyiso) thermal insulation board manufactured on a continuous laminator and locally produced in South Africa. LAMBDABOARD® ensures your building meets not only legal requirements but also your expectations with regard to sustainability and energy efficiency over the lifespan of the building. LAMBDABOARD® can be retrofitted or new build, either between or under purlin. For the structural integrity of the installation support sections are required to suit thickness of board and spanning area.
LAMBDABOARD® comes in a variety of facing options to suit your project requirements. The white mineral facing of the LAMBDABOARD® allows for a paintable surface, where as the Gunmetal Grey and Obsidian Black LAMBDABOARD® is pre-coloured using pigment into the facing allowing a coloured finish. DECOBOARD® uses concealed clips for ease of installation. LAMBDABOARD'S® can also make use of the concealed clip up to 40mm thick – a brilliant alternative to traditional fastening through the boards and into the battens.
LAMBDABOARD® can be installed using our concealed clip system (for boards up to 40mm) as an alternative to nailing into timber battons. This method delivers a cleaner, more refined finish.

RIGIBond 5 is a two-component filled polyurethane adhesive used to bond LAMBDABOARD®, internal insulation cores and other suitable substrates, including concrete, metal sheeting, bitumen torch on membranes etc. The adhesive does not contain any solvents and is VOC free. This adhesive is suitable for batch mixing. The adhesive can withstand constant exposure to temperatures up to 100º C.
