LAMBDBOARD® is a polyisocyanurate (PIR/Polysio) insulation board made of a continuous laminator. The core contains a blowing agent that ZERO Ozone Depletion (ODP) and Global Warming Potential (GWP) of less than 1.
LAMBDABOARD® is a polyisocyanurate (PIR/Polyiso) thermal insulation board manufactured on a continuous laminator and locally produced in South Africa. LAMBDABOARD® ensures your building meets not only legal requirements but also your expectations with regard to sustainability and energy efficiency over the lifespan of the building. LAMBDABOARD® has a low thermal conductivity that offers optimal thermal performance at minimal thickness.
LAMBDABOARD® comes in a variety of facing options to suit your project requirements. The white mineral facing of the LAMBDABOARD® allows for a paintable surface, whereas the Gun Metal Grey and Obsidian Black Lambdaboard is pre-coloured using pigment into the facing, allowing a coloured finish. Agricultural-facing options are available should your project require a robust application.
LAMBDABOARD® is generically unique, there are no alternatives to LAMBDABOARD®, (PIR/Polyiso) Rigid insulation board.
Reducing hot and cold heat flow throughout the building envelope allowing for stable thermal climate.
LAMBDABOARD® unmatched low thermal conductivity reduces the demand for energy usage to maintain a thermal comfort occupancy.
LAMBDABOARD® Coated Glass Facer (CGF) are paintable without limitations with choice of paint. It is recommended to follow paint suppliers application guidelines. LAMBDABOARD® thermoset nature is resistant to solvents used in construction such as paints, adhesives and alkaline’s.
LAMBDABOARD® has the highest aged R-value per board thickness, which means you need less material to achieve your building's required thermal performance
With LAMBDABOARD®'s spanning capabilities, dimensional stability and lightweight attributes, allows for ease of installation, making it a preferred choice for both DIY enthusiasts and professional installation teams.
LAMBDABOARD® can be retrofitted in an existing building or new build, either between or under purlin. For the structural integrity of the installation support sections are required to suit thickness of board and spanning area.
LAMBDABOARD® is available in a range of thicknesses and lengths to accommodate various installations and thermal performance as per the building code. LAMBDABOARD® can be cut to length depending on project requirements.
All branches maintain an inventory of standard stock lengths and available facing options, ensuring supply for various project requirements.

TEST THE TEMPERATURE IN YOUR OFFICE
Obtain estimates for your potential energy savings and the projected temperature variances between outdoor and indoor environments. These estimations are based on various configurations of LAMBDABOARD® insulation in a hypothetical scenario without the presence of an HVAC system or roofing insulation. Furthermore, you can anticipate reduction in your energy expenses, stated in Rand per square meter, on an annual basis by incorporating LAMBDABOARD® insulation whilst aligning with the SANS 10400 XA ED2 regulations.

Approximately 70% of a building’s heat loss occurs through the roof, highlighting its significance in energy inefficiency. Proper insulation and ventilation are essential to prevent this heat escape, which helps lower heating costs and improve energy efficiency. Addressing roof heat loss can significantly enhance indoor comfort and maintain consistent temperatures.
